The IB DIPLOMA PROGRAM at CIEDI
We want to thank all of you who have participated in making the authorization of the Diploma Program a success. We have all worked hard over the last few years and the dedication and commitment from the CIEDI Community should be commended. However, we want to especially thank the Teachers in the Diploma Program, who have worked extremely hard in order to make this authorization a reality; as well as the parents for their devoted dedication in our quest in having all three IB Programs.
The Diploma Program preparation started three years ago, right after Colegio CIEDI was authorized for the Middle Years Program (MYP). The teachers wrote an extensive international curriculum combined with the National curriculum looking at the skills students would need to succeed at the International Baccalaureate Diploma level, thereby authorizing Colegio CIEDI on March 28, 2008 to offer the Diploma Program.
However, this is only another stage in Colegio CIEDI´s quest to have all three IB programs up and running while connecting Colombia with the rest of the World. This is when we, CIEDI Community, stop and reflect on what we have achieved in the last 31 years and continue progressing into the future, continuing to be apart of the ever growing world of Globalization that is spread throughout the World.
